What we do for electronics buyers
We work from your specification sheet, datasheets or reference product and clarify the details that change price and compliance: components, power supply, battery type, firmware and interfaces. We then shortlist manufacturers in Turkey or South East Asia that already make comparable products and request quotes against the same specification.
Quotes are compared side by side, including unit price, tooling, lead time, warranty terms and the test reports each supplier can provide. You test samples before bulk production, and the goods are inspected before shipment.
Specifications and certifications
Points we clarify with you and with suppliers:
- Electrical and functional specifications, including tolerances and the components that must not be substituted.
- Market access: for the EU, CE marking under the applicable directives, such as low voltage, EMC or radio equipment, together with RoHS; other destinations have their own schemes, such as SASO/SABER in Saudi Arabia.
- Test reports and certificates: we check that they refer to the quoted model and manufacturer and that the issuing laboratory is identifiable.
- Batteries: lithium batteries require UN 38.3 test summaries and safety data sheets for transport.
- Labelling, user manuals and packaging in the languages of the destination market.
- Private label, firmware customisation and spare parts.
Comparing like with like
Two quotes for a product that looks the same can differ in components, battery capacity or certification status. We ask every supplier to confirm the same key components and the same documentation, so that you compare like with like. Responsibility for conformity and for placing the product on the market stays with the importer or brand owner; we help you obtain the right documents from the manufacturer.
Samples, inspection and shipping
Before bulk production you receive samples for functional testing. Pre-shipment inspection checks function, appearance, labelling and packaging against the approved sample. Products with lithium batteries are subject to dangerous-goods rules, particularly for air freight, so the transport mode is agreed early with the carrier or forwarder.
