Textile sourcing from Turkey and South East Asia

Fabrics, garments and home textiles such as towels and bed linen, sourced around composition, weight, colours and quantities. We keep specifications, lab dips and samples organised so that production matches what you approved.

How we work

What we do for textile buyers

We begin with your tech pack, reference garment or fabric swatch and translate it into a specification that mills and manufacturers can quote against. We shortlist suppliers in Turkey or South East Asia whose product range and minimum quantities fit your order, and compare their quotes side by side, including price, lead time and sample costs.

Before bulk production we coordinate lab dips, strike-offs and pre-production samples for your approval. Before shipment the goods are inspected against the approved sample.

What to define in a textile brief

  • Fibre composition, for example cotton or a polyester and elastane blend, and yarn count where relevant.
  • Fabric weight in GSM (grams per square metre), construction (woven or knitted) and finish.
  • Colour references such as Pantone codes or physical standards, and colourfastness requirements for washing, rubbing and light.
  • Shrinkage, pilling and other performance requirements, and the care label.
  • Sizes, measurement charts and tolerances for garments.
  • Quantities per colour and size: minimum order quantities (MOQ) often apply per colour, which affects how you split an order.

Turkey or South East Asia?

Turkey has a vertically integrated textile industry, from cotton and yarn to finished garments, and is known for denim, knitwear and home textiles such as towels; its location suits shorter lead times to Europe. Vietnam and other South East Asian countries have large garment manufacturing capacity. The right choice depends on your product, quantities, target price and delivery timing.

Compliance, labelling and shipping

For the EU, textile products must carry a fibre composition label under the EU Textile Regulation, and chemical restrictions under REACH apply, for example to certain azo dyes. If you need certifications such as OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 or GOTS, we check that the supplier’s certificate is valid and covers the product. We then coordinate shipping and help prepare the documents, including certificates of origin where required.

What is the minimum order quantity for textiles?+

It depends on the product and the supplier. For custom-dyed or printed fabric, minimums usually apply per colour or design. We confirm the MOQ in each quote and can look for suppliers with lower minimums for smaller orders.

Can we approve colours before production?+

Yes. We coordinate lab dips or strike-offs against your colour standard, and production only starts after your approval.

Do you check fabric quality?+

Yes. Pre-shipment inspection checks appearance, measurements, workmanship and packaging against the approved sample. Laboratory tests for GSM, colourfastness or shrinkage can be arranged with an independent lab if needed.
