What we do for defense industry buyers
We start with a clear product scope: technical specifications, drawings or standards, quantities, intended use, end user and destination. With this information we identify registered manufacturers in Turkey or South East Asia that are authorised to supply the relevant products, request quotes and compare them side by side.
Where applicable, samples or first articles are approved before series production, and the goods are inspected against the agreed specification before shipment.
What the brief must include
A complete brief lets suppliers and licensing authorities assess the request and avoids repeated clarification:
- Exact specifications: drawings, material and performance requirements, and the military or industry standards that apply.
- Intended use and end user, which suppliers and authorities need in order to assess the request.
- Destination country and the delivery and documentation requirements there.
- Quantities, timing and any requirements for testing, certification or acceptance.
- The legal entity placing the order, so that it can be screened.
Compliance and export controls
Defense and dual-use items are subject to export licensing in the country of manufacture, and often to import licensing in the destination country. Suppliers may require an end-user certificate before quoting or shipping. Every project is screened against applicable sanctions lists and export-control regulations, and we work only with registered companies. We decline requests that cannot be carried out within these rules.
Confidentiality and communication
Specifications and project details are shared only with the suppliers who need them to quote, and under a non-disclosure agreement on request. You have one point of contact throughout, and each step, from shortlist to shipping documents, is agreed with you before it begins.
