What we do for care product buyers
We clarify what you need: an existing product from a manufacturer’s range, an adapted formula or a new development, plus packaging, quantities and target market. We then shortlist manufacturers in Turkey or South East Asia that make the relevant product type and can provide the documentation your market requires, and compare their quotes side by side.
Samples are sent to you for evaluation before bulk production. Before shipment, the goods, labels and packaging are inspected against the approved sample.
What to consider for care products
- Formulation: ingredients (INCI list), the claims you want to make, fragrance and any ingredients you want to avoid.
- Regulatory requirements in the destination market. In the EU, cosmetics need a Responsible Person, a product safety report and notification in the CPNP portal before sale; Gulf markets have their own registration rules.
- Manufacturing practice: whether the factory works to ISO 22716 (cosmetics GMP) or a comparable standard.
- Labelling: ingredient list, batch code, shelf life or period after opening, warnings and languages.
- Packaging: bottles, tubes, pumps and cartons, their compatibility with the formula, and decoration.
- Stability and compatibility testing, and minimum quantities for filling and printed packaging.
Your role and ours
The brand owner or importer remains responsible for placing the products on the market legally. We are not a regulatory consultant and do not act as EU Responsible Person, but we make sure you receive the documents you need from the manufacturer, such as the formula, safety data sheets, certificates of analysis and GMP certificates, and that labels are checked before printing.
Sourcing markets and shipping
Turkey has a sizeable cosmetics and personal care industry with many private-label manufacturers, and South East Asia offers producers of hygiene products and products based on natural ingredients. Some products, for example those containing alcohol or aerosols, are classed as dangerous goods for transport; we clarify this with the forwarder before booking.
